Provided GC and CM services to convert an existing unused basement storage area into a new student lounge and a laundry room. This project was completed over the course of one summer and covered a total of 3,000 ft.² of renovated space. The scope of work includes demolition of all ceilings, walls and floors, installation of framing and drywall, acoustical drop ceilings with new specialty lighting, perimeter soffits with track lighting, new bathroom wall and floor tiles, new bathroom partitions, new bathroom accessories, new concrete throughout to level off sloping areas, sub floor throughout combined with carpeting and VCT, new doors and frame replacements, installation of ceramic tile in elevator landing, creation of ADA bathrooms including all new framing, installation of new signage, moldings and trims throughout, skim coat and paint all wall and ceiling surfaces throughout, custom aluminum storefront framing for creation of exercise room. Our contract also includes coordination of all mechanical, plumbing, electrical and fire alarm services.
