Mamais Construction joined local non-profit, Harlem Grown, to prepare meals for their annual Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway. On Tuesday November 22nd, Quincy Enunwa of the NY Jets and Harlem Grown distributed turkeys from Harlem Grown’s 134th Street Farm and Greenhouse at 118 West 134th Street. Quincy and Harlem Grown partnered together to bring more holiday cheer to families-in-need. Hundreds of turkeys were distributed to low-income families in the community who may otherwise go turkey-less during the holiday season. In addition to frozen turkeys, prepared meals were distributed on Thanksgiving Day to families from local homeless and domestic violence shelters.
